Project Background
Expanding MeetYou's Women's Health Management Service to International Markets
Meiyou is an intelligent application for providing comprehensive health services and community support for female users. To further expand the market, the company decided to introduce Meiyou to international markets and designed an overseas product called "MeetYou."
We will redesign and adapt MeetYou based on Meiyou's core functionality and launch MeetYou in 19 countries. I served as the lead UE Designer for MeetYou's community.
Requirements Analysis
Vast Market Potential
Taking Indonesia as an example, the culture of menstrual shame means that women lack a platform to openly talk about their physical health; There is a lack of scientific sex education, and many female students also lack correct information on menstrual management. These situation provides a user base for our APP.
Conducted competitive research
Getting Closer to Users through Interviews
We interviewed a young woman from Jakarta, and the information she provided further corroborated our earlier research findings. We will take these feedback and suggestions into account in our product design.
Defining the Product Direction
After initial research, we determined the positioning of the MeetYou community: a community platform for women's health and life services, providing young and middle-aged women in cities with comprehensive information on menstrual cycles, pregnancy preparation, pregnancy and parenting.
Design Objectives
Meet the needs of local users involves several key aspects

- Double columns emphasize visual content, improving content visibility. This also laid the foundation for the development of a women's lifestyle community.
- Double columns help differentiate the product. Currently, most overseas competitive products mainly use single-column text and image layouts. Choosing a double-column style helps us stand out.
